pictures from computer to phone

I cannot for the life of me get the pictures off of my computer to the phone. I put the SD micro card in the usb port and download them to the card. they are on the card. Then I put the card into the phone and the phone says the card it empty. Driving me nuts help! Angry

Format the card in the phone. This will wipe the card clean and make 3 folders on the phone. music video and pictures. Put the pictures in the pictures folder. Hope this helps.
