Do you have us cellular or altel? If you have us cellular go to menu, settings, memory manager, card memory and then format on the bottom right. But if your phone is cutting on and off you might have a bad phone.

i have us cellular, i was able to get it to format after about 20 try's on my own and just when i was ready to give up it formated Undecided  i have no idea if or what i did differently. so i am still going to take it to the store and have evan the tech guy check it out. because with my luck, day 31 it will stop working lol . other than that i love the phone. the only thing i wish is that it had a spot to hold the stylus . but thanks again for your help. and i hope you had an enjoyable easter.  Wink

when you put the card in does it show that you have 60 something songs if so just leave the card in you don't have to format it.

I have this same problem. I've tried to format my card, yet it still turns my phone on and off. ANY further help would be greatly appreciated.
