Just lettin ya know that that ventones.com did not work with my alltel phone, actually I couldn't even download any ringtones. Anyone know a trick to this sight? Thanks guys

I tried myxer.com and had no success. It sends me the ringtone code and I follow the link, it then opens up my browser and I can choose what format I want the ringtone to be in. I tried all the formats listed and clicked download now and all that happens is the loading progress bar starts and acts like it is going to do something and then nothing happens. It's like it is the alltel browser that is stopping the download from happening.

What it does for me is that it sends the file via a picture message. Before it did that, on my Krzr, I didn't have picture messaging enabled so it would send me a link as well. Once I enabled pic messaging by calling US Cellular, all was well. Are you sure you have picture messaging enabled?

Yes I have picture messages enabled. I have heard from some other people during my search for how to get ringtones for free is that alltel has disabled this feature in all their phones except for the pure smartphones and not for hybrid phones like the delve. It forces consumers to buy ringtones off of realtones jukebox and other ringtone providers like that

Hmm... odd, because even US Cellular allowed for this on a simple phone like the KRZR and even the Razor.
So... currently there is no solution for Alltel's Samsung Delve to get Ringtones that can be found on this forum... correct?
How about trying to email them to your phone via the phonenumber@alltelsemailaddress?? (You can find out what your email address is from a quick google search).

correct, I have been unsuccesful with using bluetooth via another phone, zedge, myxer, and some other miscellaneous sites. When I receive a ringer via bluetooth it puts it in my music library and I can't set them from there. I once got one to go into my sounds but still it would not let me add it as a ringtone unlike the other my sound files pre-loaded into this section. I will try the web address thing that you previously mentioned.

Has anyone found any wallpapers that fit the whole screen of the delve? I went to zedge.net but the wallpapers don't fit the whole screen. Anyone know.Thanks.

The ones at zedge.net fit the whole screen perfectly about 99.9 percent of the time. I have been using zedge for about a month and a half now and have over 100 perfectly fitting wallpapers. Make sure that in the upper right hand corner of the webpage to select the samsung delve for your phone. This is how I get my wallpapers that fit the delve's screen perfectly. Any other questions just ask.

Yeah no problem. So what previous way were you using to get them on your phone? I have been just downloading them to my computer and then uploading them via usb.

I was saving it to my desktop and then uploading the picture using myxer.com and then send to the phone. I thought regardless how you send it to the phone it should fit the whole screen but i guess not. Glad i finally got it when they don't fit the whole screen doesn't look right to me. Thanks again.
