..Hmmm what i did was first insert the Micro SD memory card in to my laptop...Then change the file name from mp3 to qcp, after that i just inserted the memory card into a different phone... sent it to my phone via Bluetooth..now i have my ringtones..Don't know if that would help, but i did not have to purchase anything...

Thank you for this tip. The Bluetooth ring tones works great! I went to Best Buy to get my Bluetooth adapter. The store I went to had 2 different adapters in their laptop department. Both were made by Rocketfish and both were USB. One was $31 and was about the size of a USB flash drive and the other was $41 and was tiny, small enough you could leave it in the USB port without having to take it out when putting your laptop in a laptop bag/case. I had just about decided to save $10 and get the $31 one when I stumbled into their cell phone department and found the SAME USB Bluetooth adapter as the $41 one for $25. The only difference was the packaging and the addition of the word "mobile" under the Rocketfish logo. I ended up getting it instead of the bulkier, more expensive adapter.

Installation was easy and straightforward, even on Vista. I connected to my phone easily and then browsed to it under My Computer and pasted the renamed .qcp file into the My Ringtones folder and then set it as my ringtone. Also worth noting about my Best Buy trip: I also found a USB MicroSD card reader in the cell phone section that is really small and attaches to your keyring. It reads the MicroSD cards without having to have the SD card adapter. I hate trying to keep up with the SD adapters and never seem to remember them when I go on a trip, so it ended up being a nice addition. I think it was $16-17 and it worked perfectly right out of the box.

idk if this will work the the delve because i havent recieved mine yet but,on my moto VE20 from alltel this worked.. after formatting ur micro SD card to the phone connect it to the comp and bring up the removable disk screen to see the folders.. if you have windows movie maker, put the song you want on there and crop it to the part of the song u want,  clcik make movie, and when u have to choice the size for the VE20 its max kb is 600 so make it less than that.. then add it to the sounds folder. insert it back into the phone go to the folder on ur phone and send it to yourself, and save the audio file and it should work.. if someone would email me that has put there card into their comp and has seen the folders the delve offers i might be able to help you.. my email is cbecker89@hotmail.com thanks if u wanna be able to try it let me know and ill make a ringtone and send it to you and well see if it works...

well there isnt a way to get ringtones really... but u can try this..u need a bluetooth dongle to do this.. after setting the bluetooth up with ur phone, remove the sd card, then u need to download a converter for QCP. after doing this u can add the file to the program and then move it to the bluetooth  folder that is dealing with ur phone and it will appear in your sounds folder bu the quality of the song is really staticy and im tryin to figure out a way to fix this

I can't find where to save the ringtone to my computer i tried right click the lil bar, and nope nothing.

Well if you're an Alltel owner like me, you've probably noticed it's darn near IMPOSSIBLE to get rings on your phone.  Myxertones doesn't work, USB cable doesn't work.   I've even tried to send it to my email but Alltel doesn't let you open the attachments..   Angry  But I've researched it & I found out how to get ANY ring you want on your phone.

First find a site to download from.  The site HAS to let you download the ring to your COMPUTER and not the phone.  Myxertones does this I believe & so does Zedge.

Ok here's the trick:  you HAVE to have a bluetooth enabled computer or a bluetooth dongle.  Why?  B/c for some odd reason, bluetoothing the ring is the only way it'll be accessible. You can get a dongle online for cheap or I just bought mine @ walmart for $20.  Anyway, save any ringtones you want into a folder.  Here, you have to change the file extension from mp3 to qcp.  To display the file extensions, click on Tools>Folder Options, and uncheck "Hide Extensions for known file types".  After you do that you can change the ringtone's type.

Example:

Myringtone.mp3

Change to:

Myringtone.qcp

From here you HAVE TO BLUETOOTH the file to the phone.  If you try to do it via usb cable it will not work. BLUETOOTH is the only option. Using this process you'll be able to use any mp3 file on your phone by turning it into a qcp file.  It sounds more complicated than it really is... LOL

stokes, do you have Alltel or USCell? If you have Alltel I can tell you how to easily get custom ringtones on your delve without using bluetooth.

I bluetoothed all my ringtones I had downloaded from zedge.net and changed the file from mp3 to qcp on the computer and when you do it this way it will drop the ringtones into the (my sounds) folder on the delve and from there you can use them for txt msg tones or ring tones.

One thing I learned that I was not aware of, though it is in qcp format on the delve you can still send your tones from your delve via bluetooth from the phone to a different brand phone and the tone will work on the other phone in it's required format.. My kids has my wife and I motorola krazers which require mp3 format and the files tranferred right over and worked perfect.
