ok here is a short Tutorial for you on how to do this, Keep in mind this only works for alltel my pics and as far as I know only for alltel customers.

1. If you dont already have a my pics account you will need to get one from here www.axcessmypics.com
2. next you will need to pick the song you want as a ring tone.
3. using what ever program you like you will need to take the selected song or sound and shrink it to        about 10 seconds or so. (the alltel my pics site will not send any files over 300 k)
4. Take the now shortened song and upload it to your my pics account you can do this with pictures as well for wallpapers if you want.
5. look in you album on the my pic site and sing your MP3 file and look for the options tab under it click the options tab and look for the icon of the green arrow pointing at the cellphone. this will create the message.
6. now on the new screen that appears you will need to enter a phone # for the file to be sent to. and you will see your file on this screen as well look below your file icon and you will see a tab labeled add to message. Click that (if you file is the correct size to send it will add it to the message if not go reduce it again and start over.)
7. Now if all was done right you can click the send button and it should go to your phone as a text message.
8. When you receive the message on your phone save the attachment so you can use it as a ringtone.

I have had good luck doing the above but I have also had to fiddle at times with it due to the alltel site acting a little odd at times but if you keep trying you can over come the issues and have some custom ringtones to set your phone apart from the crowd. I must say as well I am not responsible for any errors of the alltel site or your phone or yourself you follow the above outline at your own risk. Good luck.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know I check in here all day to see whats new.

These are both free of charge and viruses. You can also just create a free account at http://www.ventones.com/ and upload your mp3 there and cut it, then download the edited version back to your pc. As for getting your ringtones on the Delve, good luck.

i dont know if anyone has stated this on here but you can make any mp3 a ringtone of the delve from alltel by changing the name of the mp3 from song.mp3 to song.qcp then transfering to your phone (you will have to uncheck hide unkown file extension in folder options on your computer first)  this makes the phone thing it is a voice record instead of an mp3 file i have used this on several mp3s and several delves with 100% success.

Sorry someone had already explained this on another post......
