I took out the battery the other day and I said a small prayer, then put a ton of force into it and it came off... Had to be careful where I focused my force though so as not to break the screen.

It took me 20 min to get the back off the first time. Now I can not get it off for the life of me. They made it to where it wont fall off by itself. ha ha ha My luck if I try to real hard I will crack the screen and have to do insurance claim. I think I will leave it on there.

Roz- do you have any special tips on getting it off? I like to take mine off for cleaning once a month to keep the "newness" of the phone. lol

Whenever you manage to get it off again, use one of my most favorite tools... WD-40! :-P Squirt a little and you may find it very easy to fall out next time!!
(Disclaimer - This was a joke... using WD-40 on electronics could be harmful).

Demo on how to remove back cover...It may be easier to use both thumbs to do this. I had to use one hand to hold the camera.

Late response I know. I just got my extended life battery for my delve off of Ebay and it came with a custom back cover to fit the over-sized battery and it's 10x easier to open and close than the stock back cover.

Needless to say, I came looking for this posting because I cannot get the back off my Samsung delve, either. The one and only time it came off was when I took it back to the store and the girl there got it off. I've tried everything I can think of, and it won't budge. I'm afraid of breaking the screen from so much pressure.
That video that was posted made it look so easy. You must have been lucky enough to get a phone that didn't have the same difficulty that some of the rest of us are having.
There must be an easier way to remove a battery cover. I've never had this problem with any other phone.

Find someone with strong nails and have them wedge them in the line where the cover meets the phone to get it started. Then press down with both thumbs and slide back. It also seems that every time i take it off it gets a little easer. Good luck =)

yea I barely tried once and was afraid to break the screen too.. but that vid helped.. my cover didn't come off as easy as that guys.. I held the phone tightly on the sides with my right hand, used my left thumb like the guy in the vid said.. just applied pressure and the cover came off.. hope this helps.
