I love the browser.  Probably one of the greatest things about this phone.  As I mentioned in an earlier message, I'm still brand new to the mobile scene.  One thing I can't seem to get past is the fact that you have to do a *lot* of horizontal scrolling on the browser. I'm perfectly fine with vertical scrolling, but I feel like I keep getting dizzy because websites designed for mobile devices have this extremely long horizontal scrollbar that I have to keep swiping with my finger several times to read one line, then swipe as fast as I can back to start on the second line.  Does anyone possibly know how to set it up so that text doesn't have nearly as much horizontal scrolling? I've tried making the text as small as possible, which helps some, but not nearly enough...

Thanks in advance!!

This is probably the biggest beef I have with this phone. It's hard enough as it is to browse using a phone...but I would think that sites that are designed for mobile viewing would be more compact in the browser. I don't go to many sites, but one I like to visit often is Fox Sports for checking hockey scores. I have looked over the entire page and I can see that there is a large amount of white space between elements. It would be different if the elements took up the space, but it is not the case. The elements could fit in a horizontal space 2/3 smaller than what is displayed in the browser.

I think this is a browser fault. I'm hoping that samsung will make improvements to the browser and provide updates. I also would like to have a choice between portrait and landscape mode for viewing web pages.

Everything you said seems to be right on cue.  I'm not entirely sure if portrait / landscape would do much good... because we have it as landscape now, it just seems like the best way of doing it.  And maybe it is just me, but how often do you find working on computers to have your browser in a portrait-like setup? Most of the time it is in a landscape-form.  Now sure, give us the choice, but I'm betting most people will stick with landscape pretty much all the time.

Landscape only is not a problem. In fact, if I had to choose only one view, that's what I would choose. Like you said...choice would be nice, but the main deal for me is all the extra real estate. Sometimes "less is more".

Yeah my problem is that mobile versions of sites, which are designed with % tables specifically so they're compact and easy to read on phones, don't work through the phone. 100% to the Delve's browser is considered two screens worth from left to right, instead of one screen. So regardless of whether it's supposed to fit correctly, the phone stretches it out more than it needs to and you end up always having to scroll left and right. That's my only problem with the browser.

My biggest complaint right now is also the scrolling from left to right.  i think that is a terrible design, it makes me not want to go online.  If anyone hears of any fixes for this please let us know.
