does anyone know what these updates are actually changing, are they just roaming list changes, or like bug/glitch fixes?

I think all network changes are done via *228, but these are actual software updates.
But as you say that, I would be interested in a changelist of some sorts...

I jusy called Alltel and was told tere are 2 updates for the phone and that it did have to be taken to the store to be done. The last update was just released 5 day's ago so some of you may need it also. So, I guess i'm off on 34 mile drive as thats the closest to me lol.I have also been having problems with my phone freezing up like when I'm texting, so I was told that if the updates didn't fix it they would replace the phone.Just thought I would share this with you all.

Call your Alltel store first to see if they are able to update your delve. Our store in our city cannot - and I will need to drive 60 miles away to a larger store who has a "flasher" (thats I think he called it). He said no all stores can do the updates. Who knew? ?

Pfft... I'm sure the device isn't *that* expensive... they should be able to put it in all stores!

went to alltel yesterday and in my opinion its not worth the time, it just fixes the tiniest things like capitalizing the beginning of texting each time. Also u have it erases all personal stuff on your phone. I mean you can save some of your stuff by transferring your stuff to your card if you have one so its time consuming

I just called usc and they told me that a new update came out last week but wouldn't tell me what it included. I also called four different stores and they wouldn't tell me either. they said i dont need it but if i wanted to come in and they will do it.

No but i'm hoping that it applies to the delve because it'll be a real nice update for the touchwiz.

Hey guys... im from over at the Samsung Eternity fourms... and im sorry to break this to ya but we might not be getting the update. It seems samsung is only updating the Omnia... my brains not really working to well right now so i cant remember all the details... i do know one of our members emailed samsung about our phone getting an update and samsung said that they will not be updating the eternity... Idk maybe this is only for the eternity... i would rather it be just us than all non-smart samsung touchwiz phones... but the way its looking... We may not be getting the update... if you look on our forums there is allot of info about the update... feel free to check it out... it might clear up some of your questions.
