Oh yeah everybody I also forgot to tell you that when you tether the Delve for Internet make sure you change your setting from Mass Storage to Pc Connection. That will allow you on the net. Yes the data cable that came with the Delve is for moving things onto your phone and visa versa but you can use it to tether this phone for internet. That is all I have for now I hope this helps anyone.

I am so confused. I have seen so many places that talk about the tethering like it is no big deal, and i have seen many that say dpnt do it, they will end your service, ect... so my question is....

if your not supposed to connect with the delve, because they dont offer that service with this phone because it is not a "smart phone" then why when i go to tools, blue tooth, bluetooth services does it have listed "dial up networking....used as a data modem with bluetooth devices"

that makes it sound like it can be used with a laptop that has bluetooth..... if its not allowed, why would the phone itself tell me it can do it? i want to get a lap top, but i will be driving on the road a lot.. like canada, all over the western us ect... so i wont be i many "hotspots" for wifi, but rather on the road in n rv... im trying to figure out a way to get the internet to go where i go.

what do you guys think?

many phone companies do not utilize all of the manufacturers options. i was told by a uscc sales rep and i quote " we do not provide support for connecting your laptop to the internet via cell phone. however if you can figure out how to do this and have an unlimited data plan, more power to you." i started tethering back around jan with my razr, have seen no extra charges because of this.

roz how have u done this please

follow these steps:Go to the "Start Menu" and open the "Control Panel." Once the "Control Panel" is open, click on the "Network" icon and, from there, select the option "Set up a Connection or Network."
Step2 Choose the option "Set up a Dial-up Connection." You will be presented a list of different connection types, choose the option "Set up a Dial-up Connection." In the next window, enter #777 into the box labeled "Dial-up Phone Number." While the access number #777 works with most carriers, check with you carrier if you encounter access problems.
Step3 enter a username or account  and password  directed by your wireless provider. Create a name for your connection and enter it in the box labeled "Connection Name."
Step4 In the taskbar, right click on the connection icon and choose disconnect to end a session. Click connect at the bottom of the menu. You should be authenticated and connected within a matter of seconds. If you need to reestablish a connection, your connection will appear in the "Network" menu inside of the "Control Panel."
