I just bought my Samsung Delve 2 days ago. I have figured out how to put my ringtones on the phone. I can save it for my contacts but it only plays the ringtone when they call not when they text. Is there any way to set it for the text too?

No when you choice the text tone, its for any text regarless of personal ringtones. Im sure there will be a program one day that you can add to make it like that. The key word is one day. lol

There are many smaller flaws with the delve, along with the two big ones, no WIFI and an inferior OS, because Samsung failed miserably in the research and development dept. in order to get the Delve out in the market right away to make money. Even though Samsung could easily release new updates, most likely there will never be any for the delve software, it's been out since late 2008 and there have been none to date so far, so don't hold your breath. Like I have said before on here, the delve is a one contract phone if that because all the new touch phones coming out this year are far superior to it. If you have Alltel you will be silently offered a "get out early" deal when Verizion takes over for little or no charge, and then one can start up a new contract with a newer more advanced phone without having to shell out 500-600 bucks for a new one now.
