Reprogramming phone purchased from friend?

My friend just sold me a Delve, and I'm not exactly sure where he got it from. It says "Initial programming needed" and I'm not sure what to do next. I've currently got an LG Rhythm and I was wondering about programming and using the Delve instead. I'm not sure if I should just take it in to an Alltel store and ask what they can do or if I should just try programming it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much did you pay? You can get one for less than $50 with a 2-year contract. Can you navigate anywhere on the delve or is it froze on "initial programming required?" All Delves should be pre-programmed so there should be a code you can enter, I'll have to do some investigating. Let me know if you solve this problem.

Exactly HOW do you put tthat in? Threw the DIALER or messaging? If dialer after I put those in what do i hit if anything? Call button?
